My Visit at Mr Kurosawa Euro-Japanese Restaurant

Recently I've attended an event at Resorts World Manila and together with other bloggers, we decided to eat at Mr. Kurosawa Euro-Japanese Restaurant for our dinner after. From a wide selection of restaurant at Resorts World, I found Mr. Kurosawa the most stylish and had an interesting fusion of cuisine preferably Japanese with the touch of European cuisine. I also learned that they have innovations like the introduction of French-Japanese, came from Corporate Chef Christine Nicole Nicolas and her team of internationally-trained chefs.
Inspired by the late Japanese director Akira Kurosawa, which is one of the most important and influential filmmakers in the history of cinema. Mr. Kurosawa travel around the world to perfect and master the craft of filming. From Japan he spend most of his time working in Hollywood and Europe as well were vast of opportunities offered around him.

From their updated interior and exterior designs, its so relaxing and spacious for example, the honeycomb windows and elegant fixtures. Well in fact, we stayed almost three hours at the store without feeling bored and the staff services is very accommodating. Then the best part is we ordered the "Must Have" foods and they definitely have the good food that I wanted.
We tried their Last Samurai Chicken, the chicken wings is not that greasy and side dish veggies added the great taste of the dish. I also like their presentation and the color of chicken, fries and vegetables.
Smoke Salmon Roll which also brings out the smile in me hehe...cute :)). The salmon is so sweet and fresh.
Pork Yakiniku's one of their six pork dishes that the restaurants offering and we ordered this because I like the one with kimchi on the side and the vegetable also present on this one.
We combined our meal with their newest milk teas and for me I tried the Mango Yakult which I like so much because its so healthy and can help my digestion.

Of course we will not end the night and visit on a restaurant without a desert we tried their Ferrero Cake and  Banana Split yum..yum....its a finale that I not forget...

For me Mr. Kurosawa Euro-Japanese Restaurant have an excellent food, unparallel value for money and with services that fits your time and dining satisfaction. Visit them at Resorts World and Eastwood Mall.

Brigada Eskwela is an annual event that keep and maintains school facilities and equipment, this happens yearly two weeks before the school opening. Last year, I myself witness and participated the said event that was happened at Bago Bantay Elementary School (story HERE) and it was successful and fulfiling to be part of this.
For this year's Brigada Eskwela school sanitation and improving the schools of indigenous communities is the focus. Spearheaded by the Department of Education, Brigada Eskwela or National Schools Maintenance Week is the improvement of toilets and wash facilities -- to give emphasis on the importance of school sanitation and hygiene. Education Secretary Br. Armin A. Luistro FSC said when schools promote hygiene, they also help develop learners who are conscious of their own health and personal well being. “Our thrust in this year’s Brigada Eskwela is on school sanitation because it is also where personal hygiene is reinforced among our students which can, in turn, help develop their self-esteem as well as to help improve the schools of indigenous communities", Luistro added.

All are in involve and will be participating Brigada Eskwela such as parents, teachers, students, civic and business groups, local government units, non-government units and other community residents to repair and sprucing of schools two weeks before the opening of classes in June, particularly May 21-26. Inspiring Athletes Lead in the Recent 2012 Palarong Pambansa

While most children of their age are still sleeping, three girls head early in the morning to one of the sandy beaches of General Santos City. Challenged by the lack of modern facilities, the girls conduct their daily trainings in gymnastics at the beach, under the heat of the sun.

Ajah Joise Fuentes, Sophia Gayle Raagas and Nica Bernadette Castañares did not see the inadequacies as hurdles for them to represent Region XII in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics elementary level. Hailing from GenSan, Ajah and Sofia, 12, and Nica, 11, usually practice
their basic stunts at the shore with their coach, Johnny Romualdo.
Coach Romualdo remember how the team used to join cheerdance competitions. Whenever they would win the competition, they would choose to use part of their prize to invest in training facilities. When the team arrived in Pangasinan on May 3, they had to wait long hours to use the Palaro venue for practice since other regions had prior reservations and then they turn came in, they did not waste any time for them to master their moves and executions.

All their hardwork and sacrifices truly paid off after the team, who used to practice with “dayami” as mats, landed on the 3rd spot during the Championships while Ajah managed to bag the 2nd Place for Individual All-Around Championships.

On the other hand,
John Paul Laurence “Long-Long” Cabido, younger brother of Nica proved that disability is never a hindrance to achieve recognition in the field of sports, a nine-year old gymnast from GenSan has struggled to establish his name all the way up to the 2012 Palaro. He was born with defect on one of his arms, causing him to lose a thumb but does not view this as a disadvantage.

With full love and support from his parents, in fact availed promo plane rides just to accompany him and Nica in their respective games in Pangasinan. His father, who works as a security guard, does his best to support his children’s dream. He and his wife hope that their children can get scholarships in college through their talents in sports. Long-Long excels in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics and even managed to notch a silver medal in the elimination round. At first, he wanted to pursue Taekwondo but his family could not afford to buy him uniforms and equipment. Inspired by his elder sister, Long-Long began to train for gymnastics and was motivated to pursue the sports since then.

He won the bronze medal in the 2012 Palaro, Long-Long once again showed the world that having disabilities is not necessarily debilitating. Moreover, it gave him the chance to see his condition in a different light and use it to inspire others. Facing disability or challenges is a matter of perception. The inspiring stories of these athletes manifest how determination and courage can truly move mountains.
