Black Eyed Peas in Manila 2011

I know its too late to share but I want it anyway ahihi..I got a chance to watch the much awaited concert of Black Eyed Peas(BEP) in Manila last October 25 at The Concert Ground of SM Mall of Asia. It was a night of fun, dancing and drinking with the music of BEP like 'I Gotta Feeling' and 'Pump It' which one of mt favorite upbeat songs. The stage and production design of the stage is futureristic, from the Fergies gown to Will, Taboo and Apl's costume are all in unique. I like also the part of the concert when the middle and circular portion of stage extended upward almost 10 feet. The concert ground is full of supporters which symphony of voices that resonate and murmur like the sirens.

The Black Eyed Peas members supported the campaign 'We Can Be Anything' an education advocacy of supporting and helping children through raising funds to build public school classrooms and learning centers. Children came out of the stage wearing yellow shirt and holding yellow balloons, that part was so touching really. I almost cried  because they also singing blending into each other like oil on a canvas.

I will never forget this concert. Thank you so much to Futuretainment and Ms. Sire for bringing me there hhehe...

Animax Reveals the Sequel to the Hit Anime “Last Exile”

Do you remember that death-defying episode when our two vanships couriers encountered the mysterious girl that is said to be the “key” to bring peace in their world? Any diehard anime fan would probably say “yes”. It was approximately 10 years ago when I watched the steampunk epic, Last Exile; and I must say it was one hell of a ride. When I encountered the Animax teaser online, I had a feeling that Gonzo – the studio behind Last Exile and other hit series such as Gatekeepers and Fullmetal Panic – is bringing another masterpiece.

The encrypted Morse code message on the teaser that clearly said “EXILE” practically gave it away. Finally, after weeks of waiting Animax Asia reveals that the sequel to the 2003 hit anime will be called Last Exile – Fam, the Silver Wing – and will be aired on Animax same day as Japan. This time however, the much-awaited sequel to Last Exile has a different story, a new set of characters, and kickass vanship designs!

The story of Last Exile – Fam, the Silver Wing – centers on the adventure of a 15-year-old pilot Fam Fan Fan and her best friend Giselle. As a member of the Sky Pirates, she and the other members make a living byhunting for battleships that they resell. But the two girls are caught in a conflict between two nations when a war erupts. The plot thickens as our heroines strike a deal to help save the nations princesses.

In promotion of the upcoming premiere of LASTEXILE –Fam, The Silver Wing–, fans can also find out more about the new anime series from the dedicated micro-site created by Animax at , complete with show information, pictures and video clips. Get your jumpsuits ready guys (and gals) looks like we’re in for another airship adventure!

Rock, Dine and Roll at REDBOX

Singing is said to be an act of producing musical sounds with your voice and it augments regular speech by the use of both rhythm and tone. It requires time, dedication and regular practice to achieved it with flying colors :)). But I noticed, Filipinos with different genders, age and type of voice are really passionate about singing. From karaoke, magic sing and KTV bars the queue of people to sing is veryyyy... long.

That's the reason, Red Box cater what music lovers wants in terms of facilities and services. Bloggers once had a chance to have a get together at Red Box Eastwood branch  and experienced what they have stored for us .We tried it all from food, drinks and of course the line up of songs.

But before that, the Red Box's Managing Director Walden Chu welcome the bloggers and says "Our extensive music collection and sound-engineered rooms made us the top-of-mind entertainment spot among Filipinos. This is why we believe that it is just right to give back to the industry which is the main reason why Red Box has gotten this far - the music industry- and the people behind it".

On the other hand, the president of Filipino Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, Inc. (FILSCAP) Noel Cabangon told us about their association. FILSCAP’s role is to grant permission or license to music users and provide compensation through fees collected to composers, authors and publishers for usage of their works.Well Red Box is supporting this,in order to help the quality and talent of Filipinos in the field of music.

Thereafter we started to ROCK around 7PM, singers started to sing *wink* (im one of them ahihi). The remote control for choosing and pressing the right number for our desired songs is starting to line-up. Cheering here and there, clapping there and here its so nice to see bloggers supporting each others flaws ahihi..Then others started to DINE as they are waiting for their turn, the buffet has overflowing rice meals, pasta, desserts and more. Buffet round table prepares Asian, Italian and Western gourmet and they also have creative mixed-drinks. It was really a celebration and we ROLL most of the time specially when up beat songs are played and jammed with everybody.

That was my one experience with bloggers I wouldn't forget and will always remember. Thank you very much Red Box Eastwood for that wonderful night :))) Will visit you soon this time with my BFF's heheh..

RED BOX Rock.Dine.Roll is open from Mondays to Sundays. For inquiries and reservations, please dial 7576188 (Greenbelt), 3557921 (Eastwood), (032) 4171675 (Cebu) and Red Box Star 9018833 (Trinoma). For more announcement and promos, like Red Box on Facebook HERE.

It features three race divisions for the beginner to the elite with its 5K, 10K and 21K road distances. Runners are set to get their hearts racing for health and for nature. Beginners can hone their craft and endurance, while veteran athletes can improve their level of game.

TEN Moves (10 Pesos.10 Months.10 000 Classrooms)

TEN Moves, a project initiated by the 57-75 Movement, led by the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) and the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), together with the Department of Education. The launch was held at Ayala Tower One last October 14, hosted by RJ Ledesma. Present on that event was media, bloggers and the campaigns supporters from private and non-organizations.

The campaign aims to call Filipinos to contribute ten pesos each day for ten months, or a total of three thousand pesos, for the construction of 10,000 more classrooms in two years.  The campaign's name is not just a reminder of the small amount that each Filipino can give daily, but it is also a call for "The Entire Nation" to move and share resources to address one of the most critical challenges facing our Education sector.

Department of Education says " We are calling on all Filipinos to work with us in bridging resources gaps, especially the task of addressing the classroom shortage, which is a critical step on providing enhanced opportunities for millions of Filipino children".

League of Corporate Foundations trustee and past President Cecile Alcantara says "The government needs our support in implementing reforms in the education sector and the private sector as well as community must work together in mobilizing local resources and energies in order to improve access to education for millions of Filipino children".

Philippine Business for Social Progress Executive Director Rapa Lopa said that "We recognize that the private sector is in a unique position to help in this cause by providing specific institutional annized resource mobilization capabilities and we also understand that there is untapped potential among ordinary citizens, and it is our goal to engage them in providing our children with the resources they deserve"

Let us all help and make this campaign successful by sharing each others resources for the Filipino children and for the future of our country. You can contribute through bank deposits of any BPI, BDO or Union Bank branches; online via credit card; and mobile via GCash. Visit for more details and information about the campaign.
