Last April 16 Saturday, I got the chance to be one of almost 200 participants of this years' Bloggerfest held at the luxurious casino-hotel in Binangonan, Rizal the Thunderbird Resorts. The service bus which are waiting at the center of Makati that would bring us to the place, it took us about an hour and brought us all the way to Thunderbird Resorts. The staff are waiting there for us, as we registered to the place they gave us a 100Php voucher which we can use the day itself and I heard that a lot of bloggers won 500Php and up, I did'nt get the chance to play because I want it redeemed in cash heheh..When we entered in the Thunderbird state-of-the-art Events Center it was so huge and can accommodated 350-400pax in classroom type seating arrangement.
While waiting for others to arrived we took group picture at Baicapture photobooth which many of the participants enjoyed and some are touring around the Thunderbird Resorts and checking out tables of the sponsors.By 11:30 the program was started by welcoming remarks of Thunderbird Resorts VP for Asian & European Operations Raul Sueiro, then the lunch was served before it all begun.
The buffet table had the most delicious and colorful types of food which gave us gastronomical satisfaction, then the awarding of "Extra Ordinary" video contest followed.Mr. Randolph Longjas won the grand prize and bagged 100, 000Php,Carla Marie Baful received the special prize of cash and an iPad voted by the most Thunderbird employee.Included in the most voted are Diane Hular, Shobert Hallig, Apple Mae Shiroma, Caylene Paras and Ma. Veronica Guingon which also received a cash prize. Check out HERE for more details of the winners. Then the Bloggerfest proper has begun , with the objective of free mentorship on blogging and as well as networking with Filipino bloggers and participating companies the speakers well explained the topics confidently and informative. I really learn a lot from them and with my take-down notes with me, I will surely check them out once in awhile.
